Heavy duty roll-form aluminum 5/16" x 3/4" available in Mill, White or Bronze finish. (All other forms and measurements available, pls contact us)
Optional Items:
Tools you need:
Measure the old window screen that you are replacing and make sure in which of the sides you must install the flat springs which should always be opposite to the pull tabs.
Once you have the correct measurements, all you have to do is cut straight (90°) 2 inch SHORTER to compensate for the two corner pieces, which measure exactly 1 inch each.
Example:
If your window screen is 36 ½" by 40 ¾" the aluminum frames should be trimmed to
(2) 34 ½" and (2) 38 ¾" so that once you install the corner pieces it will measure just what
you needed.
In case you don't have an old screen, you would need to measure the inside of the window screen frame. (You can observe other windows where you do have screens and also make a note where the spring goes, normally on the larger side) you should call us with those measurements and we will make sure that they are the corrrect ones.
Our strong mesh is made of Premium fiberglass, making it stronger and more durable. It is virtually unaffected by sun exposure and age.
